surrey golf club
An oasis in the middle of the city is how Surrey Golf Course is best described. Surrey Golf Club features both the 6781 yard 18 hole championship course and the 2200 yard "Willows" executive 9 hole course. Surrey is known for its fantastic greens, which are always in impeccable shape. With spectacular views of Mt. Baker and the resident Eagles flying overhead you will soon forget you are in the middle of the fastest growing community in BC.
Surrey Golf Club has been offering the best golfing value in the entire lower mainland for over 35 years. This tradition continues with fantastic course conditions, a wonderful layout and the best priced green fees around. Home to many of the best tournaments in the lower mainland including the 2007 Bro Jake Charity Golf tournament, Surrey Golf Course is your best golfing value in the lower mainland. The main course features a great blend of holes with BC's longest par 5 our 9th hole. With tree lined airways, perfect greens, a good mix of water hazards and bail out zones this fair but challenging design is suitable for all levels of golfer. The men play to a par 72 while the ladies play to the par of 75. Some players call Surrey a hitters haven as all tee shots have a generous landing area, but don't be fooled into thinking you are going to eat the course up. The par 3's are all fair but require a good shot on the correct side of the pin, bring your sandwedge if you miss the green. The par 4's offer both the shorter risk / reward holes where the long bombers will salivate on the tee and the long 4's where two very good shots are required to reach the green. The par 5's range from 505 to 630 yards so you better take advantage of the short ones because the 9th hole requires your careful attention and three very good shots.
The Willows 9 is great for sharpening your short game with the same great greens and a good mixture of par 3's and 4's. Come and experience the best golfing value in the lower mainland.
