The event, which takes place at Hazelmere Golf and Country Club in South Surrey, is part of the Canadian Professional Golf Tour, which has seen the likes of pro golfers such as Stephen Ames and Stuart Appleby.

This is a high-calibre golf tournament, said Mike Stewart, president of West Coast Golf Group, which owns the Hazelmere club, with a prize of $150,000.00.
